Finger Lakes Railway Added to e-RAILSAFE-SHORTLINE

ATLANTA- April 13, 2009 – Finger Lakes Railway Corp. (reporting mark FGLK) is the latest to join e-RAILSAFE Short Line – a unique service from e-VERIFILE.COM Inc. that assists Short Line and Regional Railroad operators with workplace safety/security management.

FGLK, which provides freight and passenger excursion services around Central New York's Finger Lakes region, will utilize e-RAILSAFE-ShortLine(ERS-ShortLine) to better manage routine tasks such as personnel screening, resource management, safety awareness/compliance, and workforce credentialing.

 “This is an amazing program which allows us to more efficiently manage the hiring process and maintain compliance with Federal regulations,” says FGLK’s Superintendent of Transportation, Nathaniel A. Gamble.

ERS-ShortLine is based on the successful e-RAILSAFE service which enables Class 1 Railroads to facilitate workplace safety and security management via Compliance Programs that they create in the system. The entire process is managed from one web-based platform which is accessible via ers-shortline.com. The service requires no additional software or equipment and can be securely accessed from any PC.
