Pinsly Railroad to Participate in eRAILSAFE-SHORTLINE
ATLANTA- April 23, 2009– Atlanta-based eVERIFILE.COM Inc, is pleased to announce that it has signed another railroad to its service, e-RAILSAFE SHORTLINE (ERS-ShortLine).
Pinsly Railroad Company has agreed to utilize ERS ShortLine which assists Short Line and Regional Railroad operators with routine workplace safety and security management from one web-based platform. Pinsly, headquartered in Westfield, MA, is expected to use ERS-ShortLine across its system which includes Arkansas Midland, Florida Central Florida Midland, Florida Northern, and Pioneer Valley railroads.
As subscribers to the service, Pinsly administrators will login to ers-shortline.com to easily manage routine tasks such as personnel screening, resource management, safety awareness and compliance, and workforce credentialing. No additional software or equipment is required and the system can be securely accessed from any PC, anywhere at any time.
ERS-ShortLine is based on the successful e-RAILSAFE service which enables Class 1 Railroads to streamline their workplace safety and security management efforts via Compliance Programs that they create in the system. “Creating an environment where security is important is very much on the mind of all railroads, regardless of their size,” says Devon Wijesinghe, e-VERIFILE’s Chief Strategy Officer. “Now with the ERS-ShortLine system, operators like Pinsly are able to take advantage of the best security practices in the industry,” Wijesinghe added.
