Risk Assessment Firm Joins National Transit Group

ATLANTA — June 25th, 2007 – Atlanta-based e-VERIFILE.COM Inc. is pleased to announce that it has joined the American Public Transportation Association (APTA). APTA is the main organization that lobbies for transit in the U.S. and is the vehicle through which the industry provides input and influences federal rules and regulations

We chose to participate in APTA because they provide a great medium for us to do so” concluded Wijesinghe.

In addition to joining the organization, e-VERIFILE also serves on the APTA Security Risk Assessment Work group where it works on issues surrounding background screening and ID credentialing of transportation personnel.

e-VERIFILE.COM Inc. has an extensive track record of service to the transportation industry having served some of the nation’s largest transportation logistics and trucking companies. Additionally the company is a member of the American Trucking Associations and works with the Association of American Railroads (AAR) in partnership with their railroad members.

In 2005 the company was selected by several U.S. and Canadian Class 1 railroads to develop e-RAILSAFE--an industry wide security and safety initiative that facilitates safety orientation, background screening, credentialing and tracking of railroad contractors and their employees. e-VERIFILE.COM is launching a similar initiative for other industries like mass transit that are seeking to enhance their Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) efforts.
