TransitForce was designed to help transit agencies, employees and contractors comply with Homeland Security recommendations and Security Risk Management Standards currently under review by the APTA (American Public Transportation Association).

Although the full TransitForce service is not set to launch until next year, e-VERIFILE has launched the beta version of the service in conjunction with pilot programs that it has initiated with select transit agencies around the country.

"TransitForce is a continuation of the enormous success e-VERIFILE has seen coming from the railroad and pharmaceutical markets", says Devon Wijesinghe, e-VERIFILE's Chief Strategy Officer. TransitForce will enable transit organizations to easily facilitate personnel screening, compliance awareness and testing, and workplace credentialing for their employees and contractors via Compliance Programs that they create via the system.

Employees and Contractors that are required to participate by their Transit employers, subscribe to TransitForce, enroll in the appropriate program and complete the required tasks to determine their eligibility to access key worksites and facilities.

Transit organizations and their contractors can manage the entire process from one, easy-to-use, web-based platform. No additional software or equipment is required and the system can be securely accessed from any PC, anywhere at any time.
