The counties for the following states will not perform a criminal background check on business entities. However they will process civil searches.

• Los Angeles County

• New York
• Bronx County
• Kings County
• New York County
• Queens County
• Richmond County

An alternate approach may be to perform a criminal background check on the officers of the company.
